Whether you're trying the trail for the first time, or you're a bit more experienced, there are lots of way that you can keep growing in confidence. Here are links to a few resources / support services we're found to be really useful.
We often get asked to advise on the basic skills required to get out into nature safely. We've included a couple of links below to training programmes that we think are ideal - either because they've been recommended to us, or because we've completed them ourselves. If you have any queries feel free to get in touch and we'll answer if we can. Every training recommendation comes with a link to the relevant site.

First Aid Sydney provide mobile first aid and CPR training throughout the Sydney metropolitan area, including Western Sydney, Parramatta, Eastern suburbs, Northern Beaches suburbs. They offer:​​​

Relevant nationally accredited units, include:

HLTAID009 – Provide CPR (60–90 min, includes adult & infant CPR and AED use).

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (previously Senior First Aid; ~3 hours face-to-face plus pre-study; includes CPR and basic life support).

HLTAID013 – Remote or Isolated Site First Aid.

HLTAID014 – Advanced First Aid.

On-site training at workplaces, sports clubs, schools, or homes is also available (minimum participants typically 2–5, varying by course).

Public courses are run at their training centres in Alexandria, Liverpool, and Blacktown.

Courses result in a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment -certificates are typically issued same day or within 24–48 hours. Hard copies or wallet cards may be available for a small extra fee
